The Pachamama Ceremony, or offering to Mother Earth, is one of the most meaningful ancestral traditions of the Andean people. During the ceremony, a local spiritual practitioner, known as a Paqo or Andean priest, prepares a traditional offering using symbolic elements such as coca leaves, grains, flowers, sweets, and other offerings representing gratitude, prosperity, health, and harmony.
At Huaypo Sky Lodge Dome, you will participate in this intimate cultural experience while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful countryside near Huaypo Lake. How to Book: Send us your personal information along with a 30% deposit to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance can be paid once you arrive in Cusco.

Hotel pick-up is scheduled between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco.
We expect to arrive back in Cusco at approximately 2:00 p.m., making this a convenient half-day cultural experience.
The ceremony is led by a local Andean spiritual practitioner, or Paqo, who has knowledge of traditional Andean rituals and customs.
The Paqo prepares a traditional offering, commonly known as a despacho, using symbolic natural elements such as coca leaves, flowers, grains, sweets, and other offerings. The meaning of these elements and the ceremony is explained throughout the experience.
Yes. Guests are welcome to participate respectfully in different parts of the ceremony while following the guidance of the Andean spiritual practitioner.

No. Hiking experience is not required. The ceremony takes place at Huaypo Sky Lodge Dome, so this is primarily a cultural and spiritual experience rather than a trekking tour.
No. The experience has an easy physical level. There may be some short walks around the lodge, but there is no demanding hike involved.
